Clinical Recognition Programs
GRS has developed several innovative opportunities that enable clinical staff to develop their professional portfolios while gaining recognition for their contributions to the company. Programs include Mentor, Clinical Instructor, and Master Clinician/ Assistant with Advanced Competency.
GRS University and GRS Academy
Genesis Rehab Services sponsors GRS University, an on-line continuing education portal that contains an extensive library of in-service and continuing education courses focused on the long-term care industry. GRS University allows full-time and part-time employees to meet their licensing, certification, and professional development needs. There are no out-of-pocket expenses. Courses are available 24/7/365.
Genesis Rehab Services also sponsors GRS Academy, the most comprehensive interactive online library of rehab-related continuing education and in-service courses for occupational therapists and assistants, physical therapists and assistants, speech-language pathologists, respiratory therapists, nurses, and nursing home administrators. Anybody can take advantage of GRS Academy to earn CEUs toward federal, state, and other regulatory licensure requirements.
Special Interest Groups
GRS Special Interest Groups allow our rehab professionals to explore and enhance specific areas of clinical interest, including Balance and Falls, Dementia, Dysphagia, and Neurological Disorders.
The LEAD-R Program (Leadership Education and Development for Rehab) is geared towards managers with a passion to lead. Participants learn to set the example for customer excellence, business excellence, staff excellence, and clinical excellence. This invitation-only program blends independent learning with live classroom participation and provides participants with the opportunity to network with company leaders from across the organization.
GRS provides our employees with access to cutting-edge technology, like the iTouch and iPad, and is continually researching new resources to help our therapy professionals provide the best treatment possible.
